C759 jams when running duplex. Running just one sheet seems to be fine, but when a second sheet is added to the path a jam occurs.
Any ideas, suggestions?

I cleaned the sensor (which wasn't that bad) and jams continued.
I then tried running the machine without the part with the sensor to see what would happen. Jammed (20-03 code I believe).
Placed the part back in the machine.......and it's running like a champ. I have no idea the reasoning, I'm guessing some of those more astute will, but figure I'd throw it out there.

It's sensor arm being stuck sometimes. Had one and some light oil on flag and working a bit with fine scalper on frame cured it.

There are duplex sensor actuator flags that needs to be replaced every 1 million prints or so. They wear on the tips. There is one in the middle of the duplex path and just before registration that is more of a problem.
Personally, I dislike lubricating small plastic parts. I avoid it if I can. On older machines you would get fuser oil vapor adhering to the metal actuator shaft making it sticky. Cleaning the shaft, and the bore of the actuator is often enough to free it up. Sometimes you'll find a burr on the molded plastic part.
Photointerrupters in the vicinity of the fuser can become intermittent because of the heat. Often, just letting the machine cool down, allows it to work for a while.
If you're seeing 20-03 jams, you should examine and clean the sensors in the vicinity of the registration roller, and the paper dust collector. That whole area can fill with paper dust.
