Is there a way to close a thread? For example if an issue has been solved, etc. It would help from people posting in old threads and require them make new post.
This is against all forum rules written or not. I have been in many different forums over the years and such doesn't exist. I understand what you mean and necromancy is still irritating when someone posted in 10 years dead thread.

Ha-Ha I've been guilty of posting in those 10 yr old threads by mistake and why asking. I've seen Non-copier forums where the threads are closed by the OP or automatically after a set time. Not sure why it wouldn't be allowed, not saying to remove it just lock it.

Not sure why you chose a forum titled "closing a thread". You need to post this in the Konica minolta tech forum. I happen to be a Kon/Min tech. What are the consumable life %? Are you using genuine toner? I would start with a new black drum, then black developer unit.
By the way the page doesn't come out wrinkled like that? I'm assuming it was uncrumbled?

1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Administrators can close threads if necessary, we tend to leave them open because people frequently find a post through an internet search and ask follow-up questions for additional advice. Locking posts would probably reduce the amount of conversations in our situation. We do auto-close the news feed channel because old news is probably better off that way.
